Visa’s Inyo link and Mastercard’s BVNK partnership are tapped by firms to streamline USDC corporate payouts, despite initial access controls.
Commercial stablecoin payment channels were unveiled on Oct. 15 through Visa and Mastercard, offering qualified companies fresh options to back their corporate transactions.
Cross-border payouts are prefunded via Visa Direct through Inyo Global, while Mastercard’s BVNK framework seamlessly connects stablecoin holdings to local-currency bank disbursements.
This shift centers on the upfront funds required for initiating transactions. Through Mastercard’s bank framework, a firm can leverage stablecoin reserves while local currency is delivered directly into the receiver’s account, neatly untangling the sender’s payment method from the recipient’s preference.
Visa named payments infrastructure provider Inyo Global as the debut launch partner to bring its Visa Direct stablecoin prefunding tool to live markets, though participation is reserved strictly for qualifying clients.
Inyo caters to money transfer firms, fintech platforms, financial institutions, and payment processors. Through this setup, client companies can prefund international distributions using USDC almost instantly, Visa noted, giving them a flexible option when traditional banking windows are closed.
Inyo reports that this funding pathway runs 24/7 through existing client APIs, so setup is simplified without requiring new integrations.

Mastercard Launches Global Money Platform With BVNK#
Mastercard’s Global Money Platform launched via stablecoin infrastructure provider BVNK, the companies announced. The solution merges fiat and crypto balances, exchange features, and settlement tools that institutions are allowed to integrate into native products or deploy for internal treasury operations.
Mastercard Move handles the local bank distribution link. Clients draw from stablecoin reserves to execute transfers in native currencies, merging balance funding and instant conversion before funds are deposited into standard accounts.
Enterprises can partner directly with BVNK to manage treasury and settlements via its dashboard or API. Product guides note that firms can also integrate branded accounts and transfers through the API, while client onboarding is managed behind the scenes by BVNK.
BVNK lists USDC and OUSD as supported stablecoins within the system. The firms confirmed that Nuvei and Marqeta will lead early adoption, with both implementations being slated for the initial deployment phase.
Mastercard anticipates broadening transfer reach to over 40 currencies across 200-plus regions by 2027, according to press details, though that timeline is framed as a future goal.
official rollout notices share no actual stablecoin settlement figures or concrete cost reductions for these rails. For adopting firms, the primary shift lies in securing an additional funding channel, through which capital is routed straight into standard bank accounts.
