Donald John Trump is a prominent American businessman, media personality, and politician, currently serving as the 47th President of the United States. Born in Queens, New York, in 1946, he inherited and expanded his father’s real estate business, transforming it into the Trump Organization. His ventures included hotels, casinos, and golf courses, and he gained widespread public recognition as the host of the reality television show “The Apprentice.”
Trump’s political career began with his successful 2016 presidential campaign, where he defeated Hillary Clinton on a platform of “Make America Great Again,” focusing on issues like immigration control, trade renegotiation, and tax reform. During his first term (2017-2021), he enacted significant tax cuts, appointed numerous conservative judges, and pursued protectionist trade policies.
